#50 - 2024 Kawasaki Z900RS
A few weeks after getting to Virgina, I found this brand new one on sale for $2000 off.
I had been reading the reviews of this bike for over a year, it is a perfect old man's twisty road day bike,
but not a long distance bike. Seating position is the best of any bike I have had.
I love the retro style of the original air cooled Z1, it takes me back to my first years of biking.
The Kawasaki Z1 900 was a superbike produced by Kawasaki from 1972 to 1975 produced to compete with Honda's 750.
The Z1 was the first in Japan to use a DOHC system on a production model. Here is a 1974 Z1 900.
Note:
Three times I actually bought the same type bike.
Two times it was even the same model and same year, (BMW K1000s and Honda Shadow 1100).
The other time was when I bought an 07, and then later an 08 FJR.
So I've had 50 bikes, but only 47 different types.
