#45 and 46 - 1995 Ducati 900 SS and 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada.
In a moment of insanity, my wife suggested I could take the windfall $6000 I had gotten and
buy a 2nd bike, a Ducati. Went to SUB and they had a very cool 1995 Ducati 900 SS CR which
had been torn down and nicely rebuilt.
After I bought it, they took it for a short test ride, and found 1 problem, then 2 miles into
my ride home, one of the 2 cylinders failed. I turned back to the dealer and requested a "re-do".

As they also had this 2013 Hyper with about 11,000 miles on it, I offered to swap my SS for that.
I rode that all the rest of the summer and it was a ton of fun.

#47- 2022 Kawasaki KLR 650
My friend who had a Ducati told me he was (a) retiring and would have more time to ride, and (b) was
selling his Ducati to get a lighter bike that would be better for forest roads. I told my wife that
and she said I should do the same thing. I loved riding the forest roads with my Super Tenera, and
having a friend who would now be available made this a no brainer. Traded the 2013 Ducati and about
$3000 and got a brand new Adventure bike. Not a dirt bike, but a bike that is very good on the pavement
and yet still good on easy dirt and gravel roads.
Didn't have it long, but I got to do many great rides in the Cascasdes.

#48 - 2014 Honda CB1000R

In August of 2022 sold my KLR and Tracer and bought a new Jeep Rubicon.
Dec 27th, 2022 I found this used bike with only 697 miles on it. Pretty much a new bike for 1/2 price.
Honda used engine from their 2007 CBR1000RR Sport Bike tuned for more mid-range torgue.
